This print is made with a light painting photo of a neon OPEN sign, a NAIL shop sign and a pedestrian WALK signal sign. I moved the camera in the shape of the letters with the shutter open to create the letters, then put them together in photoshop.
The flag on the back is a photo of the flag at the stern of the battleship New Jersey at dock near the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. I shot the photo in the early 1980's with my 35mm Nikon F film camera with a nikkor lens.
